Jelado Vests<Pueblo Vest Black

One of the standout offerings this AW20 from Jelado is the Pueblo Vest. A new offering for the season, falling under their Antique Garments collection.

The Pueblo Vest is inspired by 1930’s style work jackets and vests and in particular those made by the Blackbear brand, typically cut from a heavy duty cotton, moleskin or corduroy. 

Coming in an intricate native blanket pattern this season, the Pueblo vest demonstrates Jelado’s unique approach to vintage blanket pattern design and showcases Japanese craftsmanship at its very finest. Cut from a blend wool, cotton & nylon in Japan, the fabric has been woven from no less than 14 different colours in order to achieve the planket pattern inspired by an original 30’s design. 

A zip front has been backed with black herringbone cotton tape and features a branded Talon zipper, while two hip pockets with design borrowed from Brown’s Beach style vests and backed with black herringbone cotton tape have been paired with a chest pocket using a Waldes ball and chain zip closure to complete the look.
